Hiring, the employee directory and the org chart
Talent management in Matrix
Applicants with CVs
Candidate records carry the CV itself, uploaded into the same tenant-owned file storage as everything else you keep.
Employee directory and profiles
The people in your company, with the profile detail HR needs and the identity every other part of Matrix references.
Employee and HR documents
Documents against the person, classified by document types you define, plus a separate HR document area.
Employee notes
Recorded observations that belong on the record rather than in someone's inbox.
Reporting hierarchy
The org chart, used by the product itself — it is how a DSR knows who to send to and how an employee sees their manager on their dashboard.
Departments and job titles
Two catalogues you maintain, used across the directory and the reports.
Team resumes
The polished CVs you send to clients, kept with the commercial records that need them.
Invitations rather than account creation
Add a user and they receive an emailed invitation link; they set their own password, and no administrator ever handles it.
The hierarchy is not decoration
An org chart in most systems is a picture. In Matrix the reporting line is used: it determines who a Daily Status Report goes to, it drives the My Manager widget on an employee's dashboard, and it is what makes leave approval land with the right person.
Keeping it accurate therefore has an immediate payoff, which is the only reliable way an org chart stays accurate.
One person, one record, from applicant onward
The candidate you interviewed and the employee whose leave you approve are the same person in the same workspace. Their CV, their documents, their notes, their attendance, their hours and their projects are all reachable from the directory.
Document types are your own catalogue, so what you store — contracts, identity documents, certifications — matches your policy instead of a vendor's assumption.
- Applicant records with CV upload
- Employee documents and separate HR documents
- Document types, departments and job titles maintained by you
